Little Update - Jan 20th

Hello Minecrafters!

Kind of a little update here but I am really considering 2 things:

1- Getting a private/semi-public server. The idea would be to play a map on Hard, with no cheats, and to build things together rather than all for themselves. We could make a base of some kind for everyone. (I might consider adding a mod, but the only one I'd love to include is Mo' Creatures to have more animals and enemies). Oh also, I'd love if we got on Skype or something to talk during gameplay too, would make it interesting and fun.

2- Making videos of Let's Play Minecraft (or of other games). The trouble with that is that my computer is currently dying out. Hopefully, I'll get a tax refund big enough to allow me to upgrade to a better more recent computer. (Mine is over 8 years old)

So that's what is going on.

Other than that, I found a cave opening the other day... Turns out it was a fissure in the earth.

And on another map I was looking around and found this area where A LOT of the grass went missing...

Bat Horse! Na-na-na-na-na-na-na! Bat Horse! Na-na-na-na-na-na-na!

This is why I love the mod "Mo' Creatures"  =3

Good day to you all builders and buildettes...? Um... Anyhow, actually, today we are explorators! (I know, that word doesn't exist.)

So, my house in Charlie's World is near the middle of the point 0, 0... so I figured I would start by going exploring randomly. Armed with an iron armor set, some food, an iron sword, an iron shovel, an iron pick and my magical bow of ouchies.

And then I realized I wasn't equipped for exploration at all! I didn't bring any boats with me. >_<

But nonetheless, I just cut down a tree with MY FIST and made one.

So here's my adventures:

First.... I don't know why but I went to explore the Nether. And it was pretty boring. There's never nothing special in the Nether. So I decided to dig down... is the bottom made of Bedrock too in the Nether?

Well, yes... Yes it is.

Awww... So cute. Little magma slime.

I spoke too soon. That has got to be the biggest chunk of glowstone I have ever seen. It's huge! (That's what she said.)

---

Then after this boredom, I decided to head south from my house. And I walked for a while, came across water, made a boat and sailed away...

And eventually, I found this pretty cool looking mountain that looks like it's pointing up. (See it?)

But my trip south was just full of desert, nothingness, forest biomes with nothing special... So I got back home and headed North!

I walked and walked and... found water again, went across...

I found the smallest "Village" ever! Only one house. Poor guy... And then another Jungle.

Night was falling... Perhaps I should seek refuge in that building there? (But it was already occupied by a skeleton... D: )

The next morning, woah... Watch your steps around this forest! Perhaps I'll go explore that one day...

And this jungle gives way to a wonderful empty boring desert. Let's just go across it.

Well, there was some mountains here, I found this nice looking area with wild cows, maybe I could build a summer house there. (The waterfall drops into a nice little pond too.)

Then, there was water again. A lot of it... but this peculiar floating single block. I stared at it for a moment and reflected on my life... Nah, just kidding.

It was night, when I found land again. Nice looking place though.Maybe I'll climb on that spire on the left to see what's on the other side.

Sunava~~! More water?! Really?!

Well, at least those mountains on the other side are pretty cool too. Let's go see what's on them.

And randomly dancing around with a creeper, a skeleton shot it and it dropped a music disc! And it's one I don't have in my collection, how lucky I am! ^_^

Okay guys. Now, THIS will need a video maybe another day. I found this hole, I was like: Oh nice, a ravine... On the left...

On the Right... It's so big! And yes, if you have keen eyes, you spotted that chest in the other screenshot, did you?

So I jumped down in a water stream and... Oh my goodness, there's another ravine IN the ravine! And full of mine shafts too... I wonder who built it?

And in that chest... A diamond! SHINYYY!!!

It was a lot of trouble getting out of that ravine, I should have brought ladders. (And yes I know I could have used a mod command to return to my home, but I wanted to explore legit.)

Well, those were my adventures for today. I hope you enjoyed... Hey wait. I didn't even introduce myself.

This is me, at least, in the world of Minecraft that is. We can't really see it well, but I wear headphones all the time. And you can see two of my cats behind me too, Noire (The black one) and Miss Fluff (Siamese).... Sierra climbed up in my room. She was shy today.

Well, see you soon!

[ The skin I use for my character is not made by me. And I can't remember where I found it, so I can't give the actual credits to the maker. I'm sorry. ]

The start of a new wonderful adventure.

Well folks, here's the start of a new blog, hopefully, one I'll stick around with. I figured I was playing a bit too much of Aion and not enough of Minecraft. A shame, since Aion is stressful and Minecraft is soooo relaxing.

I can just watch videos on another monitor or window while I dig away or build something. It's relaxing and I love it.

I figure I would start this new blog with a small tour of what I have made in the past 2-3 days, playing on Charles Winthrop's multiplayer server.

First of, we have the entrance to my house, with my three colored cats, guarding it from creepers. (Nasssssty boogers.)

The room on the left side, well... there's nothing in it so far aside from this old couch. The flooring isn't even done! I don't know exactly how I'll decorate this room, but it will obviously be a living room.

On the right side, there's some storage... and a jukebox. I had to look very long for those diamonds to make it... -.-; But what's that on the side, there's more to this room...

Why yes, there's my kitchen. And two dispensers full of cookies and bread. Hmmm.

Above the kitchen, on the right side of the house, there's my bedroom. I have a queen size bed, in case I have visitors. *wink wink*

And across the wallway, above the soon-to-be living room, there's my library... Well, it's a work in progress anyway, books are hard to come by now that they need leather... =(

Climbing up some more, up that ladder in the middle of the first picture, we have... the attic. On the left side, a storage room, nothing really special and on the right side...

The Alchemy Room.

Now... let's go see downstairs?

What do we have as soon as we go down the stairs... Chests! Many many chests. Most of my items are stored here. A little too obvious for burglars... Maybe I'll have to add a secret door in a wall...?

A little further down... The Wool Room. Of course, those of you on my Facebook already saw this one.

And across from the Wool Room, there's Sugar Canes! Or Bamboo... or Reeds? Call them whatever you like. But there's a ladder underneath that picture frame...

And it leads to the Forge. I store most of my metals in those chests so I can forge them when I need them.

Now, let's go see outside!

Woah... The risks we take to take good pictures! Let's turn around to reveal...

My house! Or my Mansion rather. We can see the Jungle biome in the background... Along with the sheep pen... a strange windowed building, what is this?

Oh why yes, it's the Egginator 3000! Let's check it out.

Push button... Collect eggs. Sounds simple, but I wonder how it works... *clicks*

Woah! The floor opened and some eggs popped out!

Well, that's about it for the visit of this house and buildings. I hope you enjoyed it and hopefully, I'll take more pictures or videos of my adventures in Minecraft. Tell me if you have ideas of what I should do.

*Edit!* I forgot to mention. All of this is made legit, with no cheating at all. ^.^
